One person is dead and one injured after a shooting that occurred in East Riverside early Thursday morning.
APD officers received a call about shots being fired at the City View apartment complex at 4900 E. Oltorf St. around 12:44 a.m. Thursday morning, according to a press release from APD public information specialist Lisa Cortinas.
When officers arrived at the apartment, they found two people with injuries from gunshot wounds, one of whom later died. One of the injured individuals was transported to Brackenridge Hospital for treatment.
APD is still investigating the incident.
