Four months since Prop. 1 failed and Uber and Lyft left Austin, Texas politicians discuss the future of ride-hailing Saturday at a panel titled "Rideshare's Road Forward" at the Texas Tribune Festival. The panel includes Austin Mayor Steve Adler, state representative Jeff Leach (R-Plano), Corpus Christi Mayor Nelda Martinez, and Texas state senator Charles Schwertner. The panel will be moderated by Aman Batheja, a Texas Tribune editor and reporter who has covered politics, economic issues and transportation.
