Update (1:14 p.m.): Ellen DeGeneres will begin her giveaway at 3:30 p.m. at the Main Mall, according to her Twitter.

Original post: Ellen DeGeneres will be giving away Grammy tickets to the best-dressed Beyonce impersonator at 3 p.m. today in front of the Tower.

At noon, The Ellen Show representatives told the hundreds of students gathered on the steps of the Main Mall to leave and come back at 3 p.m. dressed as Beyonce.  

A McCombs account tweeted this morning saying the event would happen at 1 p.m. today, but the tweet was quickly removed.

DeGeneres first announced the event Monday through Twitter.

Last week two people at Georgia Tech won tickets to the #SuperBowl. @UTAustin, I hope you’re free tomorrow.

Last week the Ellen Show also gifted Georgia Tech with the chance to win tickets to the Super Bowl.
