UT's Institute for Urban Policy Research & Analysis partnered with the Eastwoods Neighborhood Association to celebrate Juneteenth at Eastwoods Park on June 19, 2023.

Protestors gathered at the Texas state capitol to rally against House Bill 1869 and Senate Bill 14 on March 27, 2023. The two bills, if passed, would prohibit gender transitioning in youth.
