UT’s Counseling and Mental Health Center has rolled out new services to out-of-state and out-of-country students to improve accessibility to mental health resources for students not on campus in the future.
Numbers fluctuate each semester depending on when midterms and finals are scheduled, and the causes for referrals this semester are largely the same as before, an assistant director in the Office of the Dean of Students said.
A new dashboard from the UT COVID-19 Modeling Consortium will allow families and school officials to estimate the probability of an infected case emerging at schools across the United States on a weekly basis.
Students should take precautionary measures before leaving campus, such as limiting interactions two weeks prior to going home and being tested through the PCT program, a UHS associate director said.
UHD released a student feedback survey last Nov. 18 to gauge what students would like to see as food options, price ranges and times of day students would frequently visit. The survey closes Dec. 4.

The winning team’s proposal for Childress, Texas, includes adding a historical museum, events center and startup incubator to the Childress Hotel as well as hosting an annual Childress County festival.
