With only three games left of Big 12 conference play, the Longhorns are showing positive signs after a rocky start to the season. Last Friday’s 2-1 road victory against Baylor improved the team’s conference record to 4–2, enough for second place in the Big 12 behind Oklahoma State.
After two consecutive conference losses, Texas regained its footing in the Big 12 race with a 2-1 win on the road against Baylor. The Longhorns now sit in second place in the conference with a record of 4–2.
Texas fans were looking for the opportunity to see the Longhorns pick up another crucial Big 12 conference win, but left Mike A. Myers Stadium disappointed as Oklahoma State walked away with a 2-0 victory.
After a nail-biting bout to the finish with TCU, the Longhorns prevailed 1-0, and now Texas soccer is the lone undefeated and untied team in the Big 12, sitting in first place with a conference record of 3–0.
