On a roster of 10 players for the No. 4 Texas men’s tennis team, five of them played their last regular season match at Texas Tennis Center on Sunday, taking on the No. 6 Baylor Bears, who the Longhorns had beaten each of the past three years.
The No. 4 Texas Longhorns took to the Texas Tennis Center on Friday night seeking to open Big 12 play with a win, while also securing an 18–2 record, which would tie the school record for wins through 20 games.
The No. 3 Texas Longhorns — off an eight-day break from dispatching No. 1 Ohio State at home — continued their dominant home stand against No. 12 Columbia, dominating doubles play and making quick work of singles to take the match 6-1 and grabbing another top-15 win to remain perfect at the Texas Tennis Center this season.
