UT released its first doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to members of the UT community last month and will continue the effort to vaccinate the UT population as new groups become eligible.
Speech First, a campus free speech advocacy group, filed a lawsuit against the University in 2018 on behalf of its UT members for “regulating students’ free speech."
Former congressman and El Paso city councilman Beto O’Rourke will teach a class at the LBJ School of Public Affairs about voting rights in Texas, titled “Texas Democracy and the Fight for Representation.”
The program, which is currently accepting applications for fall 2021 through Dec. 15, will allow medical students to earn a Master of Public Affairs in addition to their medical degree in about four years.
UT advisers are struggling to implement recent grading policy changes, which they say are a sign of the University’s continued disregard for their contributions on campus.
