For the first time this season, Texas appeared in the BCS Standings.
The Longhorns came in at No. 24 on the BCS rankings on Sunday after their 47-40 overtime win against West Virginia on Saturday. Associated Press placed Texas at No. 23.
The win over West Virginia marked the sixth consecutive victory for the Longhorns and improved their season record to 7-2. They are tied with Baylor atop the Big 12 standings with a 6-0 record in conference play.
