Independent candidate for president Evan McMullin speaks in a one-on-one discussion at 2016 Texas Tribune Festival Sunday morning, moderated by Texas Tribune CEO Evan Smith. McMullin, a former CIA operations officer and Republican Party member, entered the presidential election in August, speaking against Donald Trump's nomination as the Republican Party candidate for president. McMullin is expected to speak about his campaign and speak against Trump's campaign, considering himself as an alternative to Trump.
