Former Texas defensive lineman Keondre Coburn is headed to Kansas City to play for the Chiefs after five seasons with the Longhorns.

Coburn played in 41 games over his Texas career, notching six and a half sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss. In 2022, Coburn set career highs in tackles (29) and sacks (two and a half) while playing on the Big 12’s best defense.

The 330-pound defensive tackle joins fellow Texas draftees Bijan Robinson, Demarvion Overshown and Roschon Johnson in the draft.

Coburn declared for the draft on Jan. 5, a week after the Alamo Bowl loss against Washington.
