Touchdown Texas! After two passes from Manning at 26 and 42 yards each, Wisner ran the ball in for a one-yard trip to the endzone. The extra point is good and Texas cuts into Florida’s lead, 29-21 with 3:20 left on the clock.

Touchdown Florida. Lagway connects again with Wilson on a 55-yard pass, who shakes off two Texas defenders to find his way into the endzone. Extra point is good and the Longhorns have a long way to go to catch up with the Gators who lead 29-14.

Texas touchdown! Manning connected with sophomore receiver Ryan Wingo with a 38-yard pass down the field. Extra point is good and the Longhorns are now down to a two-possession game. Florida leads 22-14 with 2:43 left of the third quarter.

Florida’s 38-yard field goal is good, after a monster 60-yard pass from Lagway to Brown put the Gators in position to score. 22-7 with 5:37 left in the third quarter.

Texas got possession to start out the second half but the Longhorns went three and out to hand the ball back to Florida. Livingstone is back on the field, wearing what appears to be a wrap or brace on his lower right leg, and went out for some routes before Texas was stopped.

The first half ends with Florida dominating. Texas’ defense is unable to make stops, and besides one turnover, isn’t explosive. The offense is having trouble getting down the field, and with a heavy pass rush game and effective stops on the ground, it looks like the Gators’ defense is overrunning the Longhorns in the trenches.

Bouwmeester’s punt is blocked and Florida puts the ball back in it’s own endzone for a safety. The Gators are up 19-7.

Florida touchdown — Lagway’s 16-yard pass up the middle to Wilson, followed by a good extra point, puts Florida up 17-7 with five minutes left of the half.

Livingstone was helped off the field following his play that set the Longhorns up for a touchdown. After heading into the medical tent, he was helped into the locker room. Texas’ defense is currently attempting to stop Florida from making its way into the endzone again, sitting at 2nd-and-10 on Texas’ 13-yard line.

Texas touchdown! A pass from Manning to junior running back Quintrevion Wisner put the Longhorns up on the board. The extra point is good and the score sits 10-7 with ten minutes left of the first half.

A huge 33-yard pass from Manning to redshirt freshman Parker Livingstone put Texas at the 10-yard line for a first and goal.

Fumble recovery by Texas! Lagway’s pass to redshirt junior Hayden Hansen is punched out by sophomore linebacker Ty’Anthony Smith and recovered by junior linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., who ran it 21 yards to Florida’s 45-yard line.

The Gators were all up in Manning’s face as the Longhorns were stopped again on Florida’s 42-yard line with a hurry and several incomplete passes. Florida gets the ball back for the third time on Texas’ 20-yard line.

Florida quarterback DJ Lagway entered the medical tent after chatting with head coach Billy Napier. The Longhorns are currently on the field attempting to make a third down conversion as the second quarter starts.

34-yard field goal from Florida is good, making the score 10-0 after the Longhorns managed to stop the Gators from advancing to the endzone. Baugh has already rushed for 69 yards with one minute left of the quarter.

The Longhorns’ first drive down the field was unsuccessful, with the Gators forcing pressure on redshirt sophomore Arch Manning and stopping Texas at Florida’s 40-yard line. Graduate punter Jack Bouwmeester punts the ball and Florida will regain possession at its own 20-yard line.

Florida touchdown — sophomore running back Jadan Baugh runs the ball into the endzone for five yards. This is the first time this season the Texas defense has let up a touchdown in the first drive of a game. The extra point is good and the scoreboard reads 7-0 with 7:58 left in the first quarter.

Kickoff! After winning the toss, the Longhorns deferred to the second half and Florida received first possession. Senior kicker Will Stone kicked the ball off right into the hands of freshman receiver Vernell Brown III, who was stopped at the 16-yard line.
