As students approach the middle of October, they begin to prepare for fall festivities like Halloween, pumpkin-themed treats and Oktoberfest. However, the month is also dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for those affected by breast cancer. The local Austin community offers a variety of events and opportunities to get involved and learn more about breast cancer. To help Longhorns find events from fundraisers to walks, The Daily Texan created a list of four upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Month events.
