Vanderbilt found the endzone with 67-yard touchdown pass from Pavia to Stowers. After review the 2-point conversion is upheld, Longhorns lead 34-24 with 3:45 seconds left in the game.

Vanderbilt found the endzone again as Pavia broke free and scrambled for a 25-yard touchdown, running right into sophomore defensive back Xavier Filsaime in the process. Both Texas and Vanderbilt received unsportsmanlike conduct fouls. Pavia’s attempt at a two-point conversion failed and with 10 minutes left of the game, the Commodores trail the Longhorns 34-16.

Vanderbilt botches its attempt at a 48-yard field goal after Texas gets a defensive stop with a sack on Pavia from senior edge Ethan Burke. With five and a half minutes left of the third quarter, Texas still leads 31-10 and will receive the ball at the 38-yard line.

Shipley kicked a 37-yard field goal to put the Longhorns up by three with six seconds left of the third quarter. Vanderbilt trails 34-10 as the Commodores take the ball over to close out the third quarter.

Texas touchdown! Manning finds sophomore receiver Emmett Mosley V for a six-yard pass touchdown up the middle just six minutes into the second half. Shipley’s extra point is good and Texas solidifies its lead to 30-10 with nine minutes of the third quarter left.

Texas attempts two hail Mary passes up the endzone as the final seconds tick down. The first, intended for redshirt freshman Parker Livingstone, was incomplete after Vanderbilt received an illegal substitution penalty. The second to junior tight end Jack Endries was also incomplete. Texas and Vanderbilt both head into the tunnel 24-10 as the first half ends.

Vanderbilt finds the endzone for the first time all game with 11 seconds left of the first half. Pavia found graduate tight end Eli Stowers up the middle for a 16-yard touchdown. Vanderbilt’s extra point is good and the Commodores cut the lead down to 24-10.

Texas touchdown! Junior running back Quintrevion Wisner front flips into the endzone for another six after Manning led the Longhorns down a cruise toward the endzone. The extra point from Shipley sails through and Texas leads 24-3 with seven minutes left of the first half.

Vanderbilt finally puts points on the board with a field goal as the second quarter opens. Pavia was stopped at the Texas 26-yard-line on an attempt to scramblefor a third-down conversion. Texas leads 17-3 with 11:22 left of the half.

Texas touchdown! Manning finds sophomore running back CJ Baxter Jr. in the endzone for a six-yard touchdown. The extra kick is good and Texas leads against Vanderbilt 17-0 with two minutes left of the first quarter.

Vanderbilt attempted to make its way downfield but a series of penalties kept the Commodores from advancing into Texas territory and forced them to kick away. Texas will start on its own 17-yard-line after a short return from sophomore kick returner Ryan Niblett.

Senior kicker Mason Shipley sends the ball straight through the goalposts for three points. With 11:38 left in the first quarter, Texas leads 10-0.

Texas turnover! The Longhorns, led by a sack from sophomore linebacker Colin Simmons, forced a fumble from Pavia. Texas gets the ball back on Vanderbilt’s 29-yard-line.
