The Texas women’s tennis squad will travel to Malibu, Calif., this weekend to compete against Pepperdine University on Saturday.
Ranked No. 22 in the country, the Longhorns will be looking to sustain their momentum. After defeating Princeton 6-1 in their last event, they improved their overall record to 2-1.
“We’re excited to be back in action. We’re healthier than we were a few weeks ago,” said head coach Patty Fendick-McCain.
“It’s a trip back to home areas for two of our ladies, Maggie Mello and freshman Cierra Gaytan-Leach. We’re excited to play against such quality competition and perennially top-notch teams.”
