Freshman guard Chassidy Fussell and incoming recruit Cassie Peoples will try out for the national under-19 development team in Colorado Springs, Colo., later this month.
USA Basketball made the announcement on Thursday. Peoples and Fussell join 33 other young women attempting to fill 24 roster spots for the team, which will travel to the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championships, which begin July 21 in Chile.
Other Big 12 athletes invited to the tryout are Karla Gilbert of Texas A&M and Odyssey Sims of Baylor.
