Texas sophomore Kramer Hickok shot an even par on Tuesday in Glasgow, Scotland for the British Amateur Championship. After 36 holes, Kramer is now tied for 39th at 2-over par and will make the cut and advance into the final round at the Royal Troon.
On Monday Hickok shot a 73 finishing 2-over par following with an even-par 71 the next day. With this 144-stroke performance Hickok advanced to Wednesday’s match play Round of 64 along with 77 other golfers from 25 other countries.
As a freshman Kramer competed in five tournaments as part of the Longhorns golf team. Of those five starts he finished in the top-50 three times, and his highest placing came in the Aggie Invitational in April when he placed 17th.
