Texas moved up two spots to No. 12 this weekend after the 66-31 victory over Ole Miss on the road. The USA Today Coaches’ poll has the Longhorns at No. 10, which will factor into the eventual BCS rankings, which will be released in October. Alabama solidified its position at No. 1, picking up all but two of the first place votes. LSU moved up to No. 2 after Stanford’s upset over USC, who fell to No. 13, behind Texas.
