An SUV caught fire in a parking lot on campus Tuesday near 25th and Guadalupe streets after the driver noticed smoke coming from the hood. The driver, Kenya Rivas, who is not a UT student, was meeting two friends for dinner when her Nissan Xterra ignited. Austin police said the cause of the fire was unclear and no one was injured.
