This weekend Texas heads to South Carolina for the Clemson Invite on Lake Hartwell. With Big 12 competition right around the corner, Texas is using every moment to improve and heighten their performance on the water.
“Everyone has a different opinion on what needs to happen in order to do well this weekend but one thing I think we can all agree on is mastering the technical things within each boat,” sophomore Heather Leighton said.
The spring season has brought focus to Texas’ technique on and off the water. As Texas nears conference play, its practice and performance at the meet is more important as it fights to defend its championship title.
Texas will be competing both Saturday and Sunday in both open eights and fours.
