The Longhorns defensive class of 2014 has added depth in the last few weeks, notably on the defensive line.
Texas received commitments from defensive tackles Courtney Garnett and Trey Lealaimatafao. Garnett, from New Orleans Louisiana, committed to the Longhorns in early April after receiving offers from many of the top teams in the country, including Ohio State and Texas A&M.
Lealaimatafao received offers from numerous Big 12 programs before committing to the Longhorns. The San Antonio product attended Earl Warren High School.
A pair of defensive ends, Sione Teuhema and Jake McMillon, made commitments to the Longhorns as well.McMillon, from Abiline, Texas, narrowed down his choices to TCU and Texas, before deciding on the Longhorns.Teahema is the most recent defensive addition to the class of 2014. Teuhema joins the Longhorn with his brother, Maea Teuhema, an offensive lineman in the Longhorns’ class of 2015.
