Texas women’s tennis to play in ITA All-American Championships

Texas will bring four players to the Golden State Saturday for the ITA All-American Championships.

Sophomore Breaunna Addison will make her first appearance at the event, coming off a 4-0 mark at the Duke Invitational. She will have the first four days of the singles tournament to prepare for the preliminary rounds before reaching the main draw.

Addison will also team up with freshman Pippa Horn — her first outing as a Longhorn — in doubles Tuesday.

Elizabeth Begley begins her senior season Saturday in the pre-qualifying singles draw.

Despite sharing the court with Addison at Duke, freshman Ratnika Batra will pair up with Begley in the doubles preliminary.

The preliminary rounds begin Saturday at the University of California-Los Angeles. The qualifying and main draws start Thursday at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
