After a win against A&M last week, women’s golf heads north for the Minnesota Invitational on Monday.
The par 72 course, located in the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will take place over two days for a total of 54 holes.
Sophomore Sophia Schubert, juniors Julia Beck and Haley Mills, senior Natalie Karcher and freshman Maddie Luitwieler will take to the course.
Last year, the Longhorns, led by then-senior Bertine Strauss, tied for fourth in the tournament with a team score of 301.
Although East Carolina won out the tournament by 21 strokes last year, the Longhorns still came away with good individual performances.
Beck and then-junior Tezira Abe tied for 21st, with Abe posting a career-best finish.
East Carolina, looking to retain their tournament title, is one of 11 other teams the Longhorns will be competing against. The Pirates senior Frida Gustafsson Spang, will defend her title as the 2014 Individual Champion.
Kansas and TCU are the only other Big 12 teams in the tournament.
