On Tuesday at noon, Student Government ended the application period for students to apply to run for Student Body President and Vice President on the Executive Board.
The tickets for the Executive Alliances are Isaiah Carter and Sydney O’Connell, Alejandrina Guzman and Micky Wolf and Blake Burley and Robert Guerra.
The candidates were allowed to start openly campaigning for these positions Tuesday at midnight. The three campaign teams met at various locations on campus and announced their candidacy. The campus-wide elections run until March.
Student Body President and Vice President are elected as a ticket, while Chief of Staff, Communications Director, Internal Financial Director, External Financial Director and Administrative Director are appointed by the President and approved by the Assembly.
Online voting will take place from 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 2.
