Kendrex White was indicted by a grand jury Monday for murder and three counts of aggravated assault, according to the Austin American-Statesman.
The jury found enough evidence to put White on trial, and he is expected to appear in court this Friday for a status hearing, according to the Statesman. White has been in jail since the stabbing incident, with his bail posted at $1 million.
White killed freshman Harrison Brown and injured three other students with a knife outside Gregory Gym on May 1. He claimed he did not remember carrying out the attack, but was later found to be competent and was denied the defense of insanity, according to KXAN.
