Registering for classes sounds easy in theory, but as these tweets from UT students prove, it’s the most complicated and stressful thing you’ll ever do. From crashing web pages, to classes filling up within seconds, registration can often feel hopeless. These tweets capture all of the reasons why UT students dread registration.

Vigilance is key.
My favorite thing about registration season is looking at the course schedule every 5 minutes to make sure that the classes you need aren't closed yet

i think it’s really interesting that UT waits to charge students for medical visits until right before class registration. i just got a bill for 3 doctors visits- 2 in march and 1 in january.

Finding the perfect schedule is difficult, but once it’s perfect, you’ll do anything to keep it.

They say that with age comes wisdom, for some.
Freshman year me filled out her advising worksheets on time while junior year me just called my advisor from the nail salon to schedule an appointment to get the adivising bar cleared (I register in 3 days)

And finally, this pretty great idea from a fellow stressed out Longhorn.
I really feel like registration should be AFTER finals… like I know I don't want to think about school after finals but I also don't want to stress about registration when I'm already stressed by all these exams
