The Daily Texan compiled a list of places near campus that offer discounts for UT students to make these trips feel less like a cheat day. Grab that student ID and explore the awaiting discounts!

Amy’s Ice Creams, 3500 Guadalupe St. (+ multiple locations)

Whether they choose the simple Mexican Vanilla or the decadent Brownie Sundae, customers can’t go wrong at this Austin-based ice cream shop. For students who show their UT ID, Amy’s offers an extra treat — 10% off. 

Chipotle, 2230 Guadalupe St. #32

Find fresh chips and queso or a big-as-your-face burrito just steps away from campus at Chipotle on The Drag. The Mexican-inspired restaurant offers a free drink to students who show their UT ID, making the wait even more worthwhile. 

Juiceland, 2828 Guadalupe St.

With its salads, wraps, and superfood-infused smoothies and juices, Juiceland doesn’t disappoint health nuts and whole foods fans. But for those who can’t justify spending $8 on a fruity snack, the Juiceland on Guadalupe Street offers a 10% discount for students who show their UT ID, Canvas page or course schedule. Consider the Berry Godmother smoothie for a refreshing combination of pineapple, berries, goji berry and camu camu. 

Sip Pho, 512 W. 29th St.

For those who crave deep bowls of noodles and broth accompanied by flavorful meat or veggies, look no further than Sip Pho. Students receive 10% off at this minimalistic Vietnamese restaurant known for its calming white interior and tasty eats. Use the discount to try the Pho Wonton Works for a flavorful combination of chicken, wontons and jalapeños.

What’s better than being pampered while drinking coffee? Customers can sip on tea, coffee, soda and more while receiving a pedicure, manicure or massage at this salon. Students save 10% when they present their UT ID.

Although this spa resides on the always lively, sometimes chaotic 6th Street, it offers a relaxing oasis inside with services like milk and honey scrubs, hot stone massages, manicures and pedicures. Students can relax even more when they bring their UT ID and save 10%. 

Madewell, 1329 S. Congress Ave. 

Drive to South Congress or The Domain, or simply open a computer, to check out Madewell’s selection of chic clothes, shoes, handbags and more. These high-style items often come at lofty prices, but the store’s 15% student discount lessens the financial blow.
