Laysha Gonzalez, the president and founder of Reggaetón Dance Club, was looking to connect with a Latine community and with her love for dance. From between December 2022 to June 2023, Gonzalez began creating a new UT dance club. Now, as Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, the group celebrates “uniting people of color” and the sport they have grown to love.
