Poor shooting and excessive turnovers plagued Texas Saturday night as the team lost to 14th-ranked Oklahoma 91-62.
The Longhorns (17-9, 6-6 Big 12) entered Saturday’s game fresh off a win against Nebraska, but couldn’t build on their confidence as they fell short to a tough Sooners squad.
The Sooners could do no wrong, even when All-American guard Danielle Robinson found herself in foul trouble.
Texas senior Kat Nash and freshman Chassidy Fussell led the Longhorns in scoring with 17 points apiece, while Oklahoma’s Whitney Hand led all scorers with 23.
Showing up strong off the bench, junior Tiffany Moore played a solid 22 minutes, adding 13 points to Texas’ final total.
Texas racked up 25 turnovers.
