Two individuals have been arrested for allegedly tagging a West Campus business.
Austin police said West Campus Market, located at West 22nd Street and Pearl Street, was tagged Sunday morning with white spray paint. They received a report at 3:42 a.m. Sunday that the incident had occurred, and arrests were made later that day.
The two suspects have been charged with graffiti, a class A misdemeanor punishable with a fine of up to $4,000 and/or up to one year in jail. The graffiti covered the entire west side of the business and included the word “MUFASA” and the F-word.
