The No. 5 Longhorns look to continue their Big 12 dominance Saturday at 3 p.m. against rival Oklahoma in Gregory Gym.
Texas (7-2, 1-0 Big 12) cruised past TCU 3-0 in its first conference game of the season Wednesday evening, led by the strong play of Haley Eckerman and
Hannah Allison.
Likewise, Oklahoma (13-2, 1-0 Big 12) coasted in its only conference game of the season,
crushing Texas Tech 3-1 in Norman. But its 13-2 record may cause them to seem a bit overrated. The Sooners haven’t played a ranked team, while Texas has played seven. Oklahoma’s losses have come by the likes of un-ranked Pacific and Miami, while Texas’ were against No. 6 Hawaii and No. 16
Arizona State.
