Austin Police Department officers have named Nikolas Ray Eller, 38, as the suspect in the death of Ishmael Mohammed Jr., according to the Austin American-Statesman.
APD officers are investigating Mohammed Jr.'s death after the Travis County Medical Examiner’s office ruled Mohammed’s death a homicide.
Mohammed, better known as “Junior the Wendy’s Guy,” worked at the Wendy’s location in the Union for more than 13 years. Known for his cheerful demeanor, Junior was a favorite among students.
Junior died on April 11 following surgery when he did not regain consciousness after being found at a bus stop in Austin.
