A GoFundMe page created Tuesday identifies one of the injured victims of Monday’s on-campus stabbing as Stuart Bayliss.

According to the GoFundMe page, Bayliss sustained multiple injuries and went through over five hours of surgery for his wounds. The GoFundMe page is meant to raise money to pay for his medical expenses.

“(Doctors) had to repair seven severed tendons, two severed nerves and two severed main blood vessels in his middle finger,” the page reads. “They also removed a clot from the stab wound on his lower right back and packed it. Prior to that, he had surgery to repair his right lumbar artery that was injured.”

Bayliss is an engineering student and was also a member of ROTC, according to the GoFundMe page, however, he is not listed in the UT directory.

Bayliss is one of four victims in the Monday attack that left two other students injured with another one dead on the scene. The fatality victim in the incident has been identified as undergraduate studies freshman Harrison Brown. Two of the victims have since been treated and released from the hospital, according to the UT Police Department.

Biology junior Kendrex White was arrested Monday afternoon almost immediately after UTPD responded to the scene. White has since been charged with murder, with more assault charges to come, according to the Austin Police Department.
