The UT Police Department is assisting the Austin Police Department in an investigation involving a UT student who reported assault by contact at 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to a campus-wide safety alert, the student reported she was groped over her clothes by a man in the 2100 block of Guadalupe. The student described the suspect as a 5’6” white male with long white hair, 50-55 years in age, who was wearing a blue plaid shirt and jeans.
APD and UTPD urge students to call 911 if they see anyone matching this description.
