On Sept. 10, 2022, over 100 thousand fans gathered at DKR Stadium to watch the Longhorns face nationally ranked rival, Alabama. Alabama won by one point with a final score of 20-19.

On August 30, 2022, Mexican-American singer-songwriter and producer Cuco performed at Austin’s Moody Center.

On August 31, 2022, Atlanta-based artist Strick performed at Austin’s Moody Center. Along with Strick, 070 Shake and Kid Cudi also performed at the Moody Center.
