- After the Music Tech Fest shows, attendees have the opportunity to hangout and potentially meet some of the band members for selfies and autographs.

- This five-day lineup is all about celebrating 10th anniversary of Hype Machine, a website dedicated to music blogging.
- Colorado Music Party
- Where: The 512 on Sixth Street

- Lineup: Indigenous Robot, Robby Wicks Band, RipRats, Ben Marshal
- Music industry entities will put on Colorado Music Party from the Centennial State itself. More than 30 bands hailing from Colorado will play.
- She Shreds
- Where: Spider House Cafe & Ballroom

- Lineup: The Ghost Wolves, Megafauna, The Shivas, Bobby Jealousy,
- Spider House Cafe, known for its variety and poetry slams, will host bands on the mellow side of the music spectrum.
- Music Tech Mashup
- Where: Empire

- Lineup: Shakey Graves, Gary Clark Jr., Tuxedo, Tokimonsta, Hikes
- Hosted at Empire, Music Tech Mashup’s lineup of this venue features more than 20 bands. The official times have not yet been released.

- The Pitchfork Parties

- Located at the House of Vans at the Mohawk, The Pitchfork Parties will be using an indoor and outdoor stage. It sounds overwhelming, but, this way, you can get the most of your music experience.

- Each day, Pandora Discovery Den has a different genre. Electronic artist populate Wednesday’s lineup. Both electronic-duo Odesza and Robert DeLong head to Austin from the Pacific Northwest.

- Wednesday is college night at the Monster Energy Outbreak House, featuring Houston rapper Riff Raff. Similar to Pandora Discovery Den, the different nights have different genres.

- Hard Rock has an amazing lineup starting Wednesday and running through Saturday. Come hear some of the best DJ sets from around the world, with performers from the U.K., New Zealand and a lot in between.

- FLOODfest’s first year at SXSW will feature some of the biggest festival names, such as Spoon and Run the Jewels.

- The 13th annual SXSW day party at Stubb’s is sure to be a good one — with a two-stage venue and top names in all genres of music, such as hip-hop, electro-pop and post-punk. Here’s another chance to see Run the Jewels if you miss FLOODfest.
- Windish Agency Day Party
- Where: The Mohawk

- Here you will find some of the best in rising indie bands. With an inside and outside stage, you will find an awesome band playing wherever you go.
- Quantum Collective Southwest Invasion

- Lineup: The Zombies, Big Data, Sheepdogs, X Ambassadors, of Verona
- What’s better than a rooftop party? Quantum Collective is hosted on the Whole Foods Rooftop Plaza. It is free for all ages and features over 30 different artists.
- Republic Records

- Lineup: Dotan, The Mowgli’s, Charles Hamilton
- Republic hosts a full day of music with DJ sets getting the party started. There will be plenty of food and drinks available.

- House of Vans is presenting a full-day party event that does not run on an RSVP system — but a first-come, first-served rule.
