On July 18, Spider House Cafe hosted a marriage equality celebration, "Spider Hitched!" Nine couples were married by Spike Gillespie, and celebrated with cake and refreshments from various vendors. The celebration also featured drag shows put on by The Austin International Drag Foundation.
