Texas will travel to Lawrence, Kansas, this weekend to face the Jayhawks in one of their last in-season series. For many Longhorns, a familiar face will be waiting.

Texas will see Houston at Red & Charline McCombs Field on Wednesday night before its first weekend off since the season opened in early February.

The No. 11 Longhorns will see No. 15 Texas Tech three times over the weekend in their fourth Big 12 series matchup of the season.

O’Leary, who is never seen in the circle without sunglasses tucked under her burnt orange Nike headband, completed a perfect game Wednesday night against Baylor. The right-handed pitcher has her own hashtag on twitter, #feartheshades, and she’s proven to be a force deserving of some fear.

Sunday’s win saw improvements from the whole team. The Longhorns closed out the Tennessee Invitational with a 2-0 St. Patrick’s Day win over No. 6 Tennessee.

The Longhorns will face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at home Wednesday night at 6 p.m. 

The Longhorns will look to preserve their undefeated record at home this week in a doubleheader against Longwood University on Wednesday.

In the second home tournament of the season, the Longhorns continued their dominance at Red and Charline McCombs Field, going 5–0 in the Texas Invitational to sweep the weekend’s competition by a combined score of 30-4.

Texas began the Texas Invitational with two run-rule victories over Sam Houston State and Tulsa at Red & Charline McCombs Field, defeating both the Bearkats and the Hurricane, 9-1.

After taking part in four games over just two days last weekend, the Longhorns had only one day of practice before they begin competition in the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitation in Florida on Thursday.

Texas women’s tennis had four players representing the burnt orange this past weekend at the River Oaks Invitational in Houston.
