Jordan Spieth wins the 115th U.S. Open

Jordan Spieth has won the 115th U.S. Open. He won the U.S. Open with a score of five under par (-5).

This marks the second major win for Spieth this year — and the second major win for his career.

On the 18th hole, Dustin Johnson had a chance to force a playoff if he sunk a birdie. His shot went just right of the hole, and Johnson had to settle for par, thus giving the major to Spieth.

With this win, Spieth is now two wins away from completing the grand slam in golf — winning all four majors for that given year. No golfer in history has ever accomplished such a feat.
