(Update 4:40 p.m.): Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss were joined on their panel by cast Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner. The panel discussed the show’s writing process, what’s potentially in store for the final season, and the various character deaths on the show.

(Update 3:30 p.m.): Former Vice President Joe Biden and former Second Lady Jill Biden spoke about the Biden Cancer Initiative. After losing his son to brain cancer in 2015, Biden advocated for cancer funding in congress and plans to continue his campaign against the disease, hopefully, with the help of entrepreneurs at SXSW.

(Update 12:30 p.m.): Nick Offerman and Nick Kroll sat down with some glasses of whiskey and chatted about their acting careers. Offerman made it clear to the audience that though he and his character do have some similar interests, that comedy is a job and that he is not the man he portrayed on Parks and Rec.

(Update 11:00 a.m.): Lee Daniels – Lee Daniels discussed his journey from growing up in a lower income neighborhood to being homeless in L.A. to becoming a self-made director. Daniels said he doesn’t believe he owes anyone anything and has almost no regrets about the path his life and his career has taken.
