Devastating flash floods swept across the Central Texas hill country on July 4, resulting in over 130 deaths across the region. Kerr County — a hilly, flood-prone area threaded by the Guadalupe River — bore the brunt of the tragedy, accounting for 108 of the confirmed fatalities.
In the wake of this unexpected tragedy, Texas musicians have joined forces to help heal the Hill Country. Over the next month, an impressive series of high-profile benefit concerts brings some of the state’s most beloved acts to the stage. The Daily Texan put together a list of Austin’s upcoming live shows benefitting flood recovery efforts in Kerr County and across Central Texas.
